HVAC Service Journeyman

Siemens and the UA National Plumbers and Pipefitters Union operate under a Master Agreement regarding HVAC mechanical work, ensuring competitive wages, benefits, and pension. All candidates will either need to be a Union Member or if they have valid Trade experience, they will need an approved authorization to work under our Bargaining Agreement from the Union. Siemens will share information and coordinate with the union to ensure candidates operate under our Bargaining Agreement for Compensation, Pension, Health & Welfare. Candidates will provide the complete authorization to Siemens, prior to starting work. Siemens will make Payments in accordance with our Agreement, on behalf of the successful candidate to the Union.

As an HVAC Service Journeyman: HVAC Journeyman Mechanic, you will:

1. Perform maintenance procedures, troubleshooting, on HVAC equipment in commercial, industrial, and institutional markets.
2. Execute contract maintenance visits, fulfill service requests to extend the equipment life cycle and may assist in inspections or assessments.
3. Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and co-workers through effective oral and written communication.
4. Collaborate with the field quoting team to provide necessary parts information, equipment data, and labor hours for accurate repair quotations.
5. Serve as a direct customer contact, responsible for repairing equipment and systems at customer locations to ensure satisfaction.
6. Utilize cutting-edge software, technology, hand-tools, and rigging equipment to repair equipment following blueprints or engineering specifications.
7. Enforce Safety to the highest standards, recording Safety Audits, and ensuring compliance with the Siemens Safety Program.
8. Work as part of a dedicated team to deliver the highest standard of service to all Siemens customers, including flexibility for overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays.

You will make an impact with these qualifications:

• Basic Qualifications:
• 5+ years of HVAC experience, with knowledge of maintenance procedures, trouble shooting, HVAC equipment.
• Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and proficiency with handheld computers.
• Compliance with company Safety program.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Universal EPA Certification.
• Membership in good standing with the Local Union or ability to obtain Union authorization/membership.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer).
• Demonstrated expertise in HVAC systems.
• Familiarity with a wide range HVAC equipment manufacturers.
• Previous experience in commercial, industrial, and institutional markets.
• Additional certifications or training related to HVAC systems and equipment.
