BAE Systems, Precision Guidance and Sensing Solutions (PGSS) Product Line within the Precision Strike (PS) Business Area has an immediate opening for an experienced Systems Engineer specializing in support to our production efforts in our Terminal High Area Altitude Defense (THAAD) Missile Seeker program. The successful candidate will have combination of direct experience developing both hardware and software Test Solutions in Electro-Optical/Infrared domain, ideally in missile/munition seeker applications. The candidate must also understand lab environment testing concepts and integration of systems, sub-assemblies, and components.

Candidates should be comfortable working with teams of all sizes and enjoy a mix of creative design work, mentoring the next generation of proteges, developing White Papers, presenting internally and externally, and leading test events. Must be a US Citizen who has or can obtain a Secret Security Clearance
Experience with Oracle and Linux
MatLab proficient
Experienced background in test solutions development/troubleshooting for circuit cards and electronic assemblies
Advanced circuit analysis skills to support troubleshooting and diagnosing issues
Ability to Troubleshoot System Software/Hardware Problems
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering with 6 years of applicable experience
Experienced background in test solutions development/troubleshooting for Electro-Optical / Infrared Sensor systems
Experienced background in Electro-Optical / Infrared Sensor systems, test and diagnostics, for active and passive system solutions
Capable of creating and maintaining Interconnect Drawings
Familiar with various assembly levels included in level break down diagrams
Experience building up cable assemblies which interface with test equipment
Full-Time Salary Range: $118095 - $200762
