BAE Systems, Precision Guidance and Sensing Solutions (PGSS) Product Line within the Precision Strike (PS) Business Area has an immediate opening for an experienced Systems Engineer to lead the next phase of development for our THAAD Missile Seeker program.
In this position, the systems engineering lead will be responsible for all aspects of the systems engineering life cycle as we move to support our customer community’s requirements for system upgrades to the existing THAAD Missile Seeker. Over the next several years, the portfolio will eliminate current obsolescence issues, bring new technology to the missile seeker, and implement the next generation of capability to the warfighters. The SE Lead role will also require interface to BAE Subcontracts, other Engineering disciplines, and suppliers for the system as this new technology is introduced to the product. The ideal candidate will lead the systems engineering team through two parallel development efforts - one that will gradually expand the existing baseline of the missile seeker, and a second development effort that will qualify an entirely new configuration of THAAD Missile Seeker hardware and software. In addition, the SE Lead will be expected to learn and grow their technical knowledge in becoming a Subject Matter Expert in the product. This role requires the candidate to be an outgoing, well-connected self-starter with a desire to grow the organization.

Pay Information:
Full-Time Salary Range: $146670 - $249330. Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
