Process Engineer/ Sr Process Engineer

The Process Engineer/ Sr Process Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Do

  • Process Design and Optimization: Develop and refine manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead and participate in process improvement projects, utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to identify and eliminate waste, improve productivity, and enhance product quality.
  • Project Management: Lead process improvement projects from conception through implementation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze process data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and recommend solutions for performance enhancement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes and technologies.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of process specifications, procedures, and changes.
  • Training and Mentorship: Provide training and guidance to junior engineers and production staff on process best practices and safety protocols. Help to perform annual junior engineers evaluation.
  • Compliance: Ensure all processes comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
  • Safety: Promote safe work practices and achieve objectives for ergonomics, health, safety and 5S.
  • CSC: Work with Sense of Crisis, Speed and Communication.
  • Capex: Lead assets implementation in the plant, preparing DR (Design review) and getting approvals.
  • What You'll Bring

    • Bachelors degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years experience in process engineering, with a focus on manufacturing.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience implementing process improvement methodologies, such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex manufacturing issues and implement effective solutions.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects to meet objectives and timelines.
    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to manufacturing processes.
    • Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing resource planning.
    • Proficient in process simulation software and data analysis tools.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
