Full-Stack Engineer

We are seeking top software technologists to join us to build the next generation of the Fund of Funds Platform. Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a W2 basis. For our W2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance. Rate: $67 - $73 / hr. W2

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support applications for the Fund of Funds product.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Managers and Institutional Clients to maintain fund relationships, allocation rules, and rebalance targets.
• Participate in the modernization program to build the next generation of the platform on cloud infrastructure.
• Work independently with limited supervision.
• Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Engage in strong collaboration, communication, and documentation of business/system requirements.
• Build complex web-based systems from the ground up or interface with existing systems.
• Implement web service platform and cloud architecture patterns.

Experience Requirements

• 6+ years of development experience in Java, SpringBoot, Spring MVC, and Web Services (SOAP/REST).
• 3+ years of experience with event streaming/messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• 3+ years of experience with database technologies, preferably Oracle SQL & PL/SQL.
• Experience in an Agile (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) development environment.
• Experience in Behavior Driven Development (BDD).
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins, uDeploy, Git).
• Hands-on Java and open-source skills.
• Experience with web service platform and cloud architecture patterns (AWS is preferred).

Nice to Have

• Experience with Oracle or EC2 databases.
• Experience with Hibernate ORM.
• Experience with Containerization (preferably Docker).
• Experience with Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS).
• Experience with source control systems (preferably GitHub).
• Experience in financial services domains.

Education Requirements

Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject area. Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
