The State of New Hampshire, Department of Transportation, Bureau of Highway Maintenance - District 1, has a full-time vacancy for an Engineering Technician I - III.
Summary:
Engineering Technician I: To perform basic technical engineering duties for a highway district.
Engineering Technician II: To perform technical engineering duties for a highway district including permit review, construction inspection, design, survey and specification development for materials and equipment.
Engineering Technician III: To perform and assist in supervising technical engineering duties for a highway district including permit review, construction inspection, design, survey and specification development for materials and equipment.
Your experience counts: Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience and/or each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.
Minimum qualifications:
Engineering Technician I: Education: High school diploma or high school equivalency credential. Experience: Two years of experience as an Engineering Aide, one year of which shall have been at a level equivalent to Engineering Aide II. OR Education: Associate's degree from an accredited institute of higher education with a major study in engineering, landscape, architecture, forestry, horticulture, environmental studies, agronomy, geology, soil science or earth science. Experience: No experience required. License/Certification: Must
