New Hampshire Public Radio (NHPR) is seeking a motivated and hands-on Junior Engineer to support the technical operations of NHPR's statewide broadcast and studio network. This position provides critical day-to-day support to the Senior Engineer, gaining broad experience in transmission, studio systems, and facilities operations. The Junior Engineer will be trained and mentored with the goal of growing into increased technical responsibility over time.
Our engineering department is responsible for maintaining a 24/7/365 broadcast operation with a focus on minimal downtime. Must be a self-starter who works independently and takes ownership of their work. This IT/IP-driven role requires a strong knowledge of Windows OS and the aptitude to manage and troubleshoot various broadcast and software systems. Living within a 45-minute commute radius of Concord is optimal.
This is a full-time, exempt, on-site role based in Concord, NH, reporting to the Senior Engineer. The starting salary range for this position is $65,400- $78,500 based on experience. We also consider internal equity, among other factors, when deciding compensation.

This is a full time, exempt position and the salary range for this role is $65,400 to $78,500 annually.
