As the Vice President for Support Services, you will assess, develop, and implement a corporate Environmental Services and Food and Nutrition Services operational improvement and expense management program for HCA facilities. You will serve as a subject matter expert in Food and Nutritional Services (FNS) and Environmental Services (EVS) standardization and utilization, technology utilization, and operations. You will build strategic alliances with Hospital Executive Staff, EVS, and FNS Department Directors as it relates to successfully executing the services required.
What you will do in this role: provide leadership as part of the overall strategic plan to improve Food and Nutritional Services and Environmental Services, provide direct leadership for the Support Services management plan, collaborate with colleagues to assimilate information to execute a course of action for overall improvement in both quality and expense for Support Services, build and maintain strong effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders within the division and facility leadership, Supply Chain, and HealthTrust, analyze clinical and financial performance data to identify variation opportunities and develop plans to reduce variation, demonstrate the ability to perform a return on investment model for a new programs or initiatives, demonstrate an understanding and the ability to analyze the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) as it relates to FNS and EVS, develop, implement and track expense savings and operational improvement goals for Support Services, drive expense and operational improvement through the development and deployment of standardized toolkits, processes and assessment, and perform other duties as assigned. What qualifications you will need: a Bachelor's degree is required. A minimum of ten years in a healthcare setting or hospitality service operations management and leadership with experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified in this job description is preferred. Experience in both Healthcare Food and Nutrition Services, as well as, Environmental Services.
