GovCIO is currently hiring a skilled Back-End Data/Infrastructure Engineer with hands-on experience in building and maintaining data pipelines, managing cloud-based data integration tools, and supporting analytics and reporting through Power BI. This role is critical in ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient data flow across platforms and enabling insightful business intelligence. This position is fully remote, located in the United States.
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelors with 12+ years (or commensurate experience)
Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, including pipeline orchestration, linked services, datasets, and triggers.
Strong knowledge of T-SQL, relational databases (e.g., Azure SQL, SQL Server), and performance tuning.
Experience with SHIR setup and troubleshooting for hybrid data integration.
Familiarity with Power BI data modeling, DAX calculations, and report performance optimization.
Understanding of cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred), data security, and access management.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with an ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Experience with CI/CD for data pipelines, version control (e.g., Git), and deployment automation is a plus.
Clearance Required: Ability to obtain and maintain a suitability/Public Trust #TAPS
