Administrative Support Assistant

You will serve as an Administrative Support Assistant of NMCPAC CWD DET FALLON. Responsibilities include coordinating updates and maintaining a financial management database for the unit or detachment. You will submit accurate outgoing funding document request forms to the division. You will use a computer or a conventional typewriter to transcribe narratives, memoranda, messages, letters, and other correspondence and reports. You will prepare travel requests and all associated actions and documentation, ensuring that travelers receive correct and timely orders.

Requirements include conditions of employment and qualifications. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing clerical and administrative/technical work in support of budget analysis and office administration. This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination. In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: GS-05: You have successfully completed 1 academic year of graduate education. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Additional vacancies may be filled by this announcement. This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required. Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees. A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee.
