Our strong Telecommunications customer base requires a dedicated Regional Sales Manager to cover an international territory distributed in Europe and Africa.
Job Requirements:
- Strong understanding of the telco market in the region.
- A "hunter mentality."
- Ability to understand and manage different approaches and strategies of different operating companies (OpCos) in the region: from small operators to global ones.
- Willingness to travel regularly to build relationships, foster sales leads, and close business opportunities.
- Have the ability to build a systematic business plan that outlines the path to revenue over the next 8 quarters.
- Proven success in carrying and exceeding a quota on a consistent basis.
- The candidate will run the full RFP Process (Qualification, Bid management, Quote management, Submission, Defense meetings, negotiation up to Contract closure); the Candidate will be available for all workshops, sales meetings, and RFP defenses bids.
- Ideal past company experience includes: Mobileum, Subex, ALU, NSN, Tekelec, Ericsson, AcmePacket, Telecoms operator etc…
- Familiarity with Fraud Management Systems, Revenue/Business Assurance, Credit Risk Management, and scam protection.
- Previous roles focused on solution-based approaches are highly desirable.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Home-office based role.
- Strong telecoms technical background, understanding areas like: signaling protocols (SIP, DIAMETER, ENUM, MAP, INAP, etc…); PSTN IMS LTE network; switching environment; core networks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Ability to present high-level solution concepts to a wide range of engineers, architects, design teams as well as executive management teams.
- A polished salesperson who understands the need for exceptional communication skills with both the customer and the internal support structure at a company.
- Experienced in handling account management activities consistent with the growth of the account
- This role is a highly visible position and requires the ability to make an immediate impact on an existing pipeline.
- High level of urgency to complete deliverables.
- Fluency in English is a must; Other languages is a bonus.
- A proven track record of 7-10 years of relevant experience is required, along with a university degree.
