Inside Sales Representative – Ceramic & Glass Manufacturing

We are looking for a motivated Inside Sales professional to help drive growth in the ceramic and glass manufacturing industry. In this role, you'll manage customer relationships, respond to inquiries, and provide solutions that meet client needs. You'll work closely with our engineering and production teams, identify new opportunities, and play a key role in expanding our customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients in the ceramic and glass manufacturing sector.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities, trends, and potential customers.
  • Handle incoming sales inquiries, prepare detailed quotes, and ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to align customer needs with product specifications.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity records and customer interaction reports.
  • Represent the company at occasional local customer visits and trade shows.

Qualifications

  • Technical school certificate or degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven sales experience, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales techniques, customer relationship management, and closing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Proficiency in ERP software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret customer needs and offer tailored solutions.
  • Experience reading technical drawings.
  • Self-starter with a results-driven, hunter mentality.
