Injection Process Engineer

Position Description

Nemera has signed a new, exciting contract for the production of high-quality injectors in the Szczecin facility. The entire infrastructure of the plant is based on modern solutions, materials, and the best brands in the world.

The injection process engineer is responsible for ensuring:

  • Successful process industrialization and technical support
  • Research and analysis of production processes to improve and optimize them
  • Participation in project activities involving the introduction of new resources or production technologies

Scope of duties:

  • Analysis of existing processes using production data
  • Supervision and optimization of equipment and process in relation to quality standards
  • Conducting the first trials of new injection molds
  • Conducting injection process validation
  • Participation in project meetings to design new processes and adapt new technologies
  • Contact with suppliers, analysis of offers, proposing solutions, and evaluating the specifications of equipment in terms of project requirements and participation in the final selection
  • Training users in the operation of injection molding machines
  • Searching for and implementing innovative solutions optimizing injection processes and technological supervision
  • Proposing solutions and participating in the implementation of continuous improvement tools
  • Defining guidelines during the design and construction of injection molds
  • Receiving injection molds from external suppliers

Qualifications

What we expect:

  • Technical education
  • Knowledge of Engel or/and Netstal will be an additional advantage
  • Experience in operating robots and peripheral devices of injection machines
  • Experience in the position of injection process technologist/process setter
  • Knowledge of injection molding parameters
  • Developed interpersonal skills
  • Ability to think analytically
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office programs
  • Ability to read technical and project documentation 2D, 3D
  • Knowledge of CAD programs
