Support Specialist For Underwriting Team

This position offers the option of a hybrid work schedule, with three days working in the office and two days working remotely. Do you enjoy team collaboration and a professional work setting? In this role, you will serve as an essential resource for our underwriting systems while providing excellent customer service to employees and agents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide customer support, training, and problem resolution on underwriting systems used for agency and regional departments.
• Consult with IT and Corporate Liaisons on adapting to the shifting needs of the industry.
• Develop procedural documentation on new and updated system information.
• Maintain knowledge of state and federal requirements with regard to policy endorsements.
• Review endorsement requests and determine coverages and total values.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum three years of clerical office experience preferred.
• Proficiency in PC/Windows based software.
• High level of written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while executing delegated tasks and assignments.
• Insurance experience is a plus, but not required.
