Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Service Desk Analyst Intern to join our team. This is a full-time internship and is remote. This internship provides a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in IT support and service management. As a Service Desk Analyst Intern, you will assist in providing technical support and customer service to our clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The internship dates are June 1, 2026 to July 31, 2026. This internship is a full-time opportunity requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week. Candidates must be available during core business hours (typically 8:30am-5:00pm ET) for the entire 9-week duration of the program. Please note that all work must be performed within the United States. This position does not offer work authorization sponsorship now or in the future. Candidates requiring sponsorship will not be considered.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist in responding to and resolving incoming service requests and incidents in a timely manner
  • Provide technical support to users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Document and track issues using our service management system
  • Collaborate with team members to escalate and resolve complex problems
  • Assist in maintaining and updating IT documentation and user guides
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement

What You'll Need:

Required:

  • Current junior with a 3.5 GPA or higher in a relevant field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
  • Basic understanding of computer systems, hardware, and software
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other common software applications

Preferred:

  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts is a plus
  • Customer service experience is an advantage but not required

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

The pay range for this position is $17 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will include medical coverage as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
