Principal Program Manager
As the Principal Program Manager, you will be responsible for orchestrating complex programs and initiatives, ensuring the seamless delivery of Oracle's Datacenter infrastructure solutions. Your expertise will be pivotal in driving strategic growth and operational excellence. This role is a linchpin in our success, ensuring the seamless integration and delivery of our datacenter offerings across five critical pillars:
- Infrastructure Delivery Engineering (IDE)
- Bare Metal Cloud
- Data Center Software Platform
- White Space Data Hall Design
- Data Center Materials Management
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute comprehensive plans to align cloud infrastructure projects with Oracle's overall business strategy.
- Program Management:
- Lead cross-functional teams and manage large-scale programs, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
- Create project roadmaps, identify dependencies, and allocate resources effectively.
- Conduct regular reviews to monitor progress, address risks, and provide updates to stakeholders.
- Cross-Team Collaboration:
- Facilitate collaboration between various teams, including engineering, operations, and cloud services, to ensure a unified approach.
- Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical groups, fostering effective communication.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and optimize workflows, enhancing efficiency across cloud infrastructure delivery.
- Implement best practices and industry standards to improve overall project management.
- Risk Management and Mitigation:
- Proactively identify and assess risks associated with cloud infrastructure projects.
- Develop and execute risk mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Vendor and Partner Management:
- Manage relationships with external vendors and partners, negotiating contracts and ensuring performance.
- Collaborate with procurement and legal teams as needed.
- Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Utilize data analytics to inform strategic decisions, identify trends, and measure project success.
- Generate reports and dashboards to communicate key metrics to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience in program management, preferably within the cloud computing or technology industry.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., PMP certification, Agile) and tools (MS Project, Smartsheet).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for building consensus.
- Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Experience in cloud infrastructure or data center environments is highly desirable.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US: Hiring Range in USD from: $90,100 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity. - Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.
