Human Resources Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Assistant to provide comprehensive HR support and strong administrative assistance. This role involves managing HR tracking systems, attendance reporting, and recruitment processes. The successful candidate will also support additional sites, review timecards, and assist with new hire enrollments and orientations. Responsibilities include managing daily HR and administrative tasks, tracking HR metrics and preparing attendance reports, coordinating interview schedules and assisting with recruitment processes, supporting additional sites until an HR Manager is hired, utilizing HR systems such as Oracle HCM, UKG, or ADP for data entry and reporting, assisting with new hire orientations and benefit enrollments, conducting and tracking I9 documentations and performance reviews, and supporting engineering by printing blueprints and manuals, which may take one to two hours daily. Essential skills include HR support, administration, clerical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office, at least 1 year of experience in HR, data entry, and onboarding experience. Additional skills and qualifications include experience in administrative roles, no degree required if possessing relevant work experience, and comfort using various systems, including Excel.

This role is 100% onsite, located in the engineering office wing of a manufacturing facility. The environment is fast-paced and involves collaboration with both HR and Engineering teams. Professionalism and confidentiality are crucial as you will be representing HR. While the role starts as a strict contract, there is potential for approval for a permanent position based on the value you bring.

This is a contract position based out of Blair, NE. The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
