Equipment Service Advisor

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Service Advisor to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring a seamless experience for customers needing equipment service and repair. The Service Advisor acts as the bridge between customers and the service department, managing communication, scheduling, and documentation throughout the service process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers and assess their service needs in person, by phone, or email.
  • Schedule service appointments and coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion.
  • Create and manage work orders, ensuring accuracy in service documentation and billing.
  • Clearly explain service recommendations, costs, and timelines to customers.
  • Monitor repair progress and provide regular updates to customers.
  • Process warranty claims and handle service follow-ups.
  • Maintain organized service records and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
  • Collaborate with parts and sales departments to support customer needs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or technical degree preferred).
  • Previous experience as a service advisor, preferably in agricultural or heavy equipment.
  • Strong mechanical understanding of agricultural machinery and systems.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with service management software and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
