Position Summary

This position will perform engineering tasks within the product and/or manufacturing engineering groups as assigned by engineering personnel. An intern is defined as a student working to gain engineering experience while school is not in session such as summer break. A Coop is defined as a student working to gain engineering experience instead of taking classes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform engineering related tasks as assigned by engineering personnel.
  • Evaluate products, tooling, machines and/or processes as directed.
  • Design products, tooling, machines and/or processes as directed.
  • Improve products, tooling, machines and/or processes as directed.
  • Cost reduces products, tooling, machines and/or processes as directed.
  • Validate products, tooling, machines and/or processes as directed.
  • Create/update engineering drawings.
  • Model with 3D CAD products, tooling, machines and/or processes.
  • Perform engineering change orders (ECOs)
  • Prototype products, tooling, machines and/or processes.
  • Prepare reports.
  • Is responsible for quality and safety of own work and compliance of all company procedures and policies.
