Data Engineer

Location: Omaha, NE (Onsite - 5 Days a Week)

Key Responsibilities:

• SQL Expertise: Utilize strong hands-on experience with SQL to optimize queries, perform complex joins, and implement window functions.
• Data Transformation: Leverage Coalesce for efficient data transformation and building robust data products.
• Process Implementation: Implement and maintain processes for data product loading and building, ensuring high data quality, reliability, and performance.
• Snowflake Proficiency: Work extensively with Snowflake for data warehousing and analytics needs.
• Data Ingestion: Handle source data ingestion and manage frameworks for data product loading.
• ETL/ELT Processes: Design and implement ETL/ELT processes while adhering to best practices in data warehousing.
• Data Handling: Work with structured and semi-structured data formats such as JSON, Parquet, and CSV.
• Data Quality Management: Apply techniques for data quality, reconciliation, and validation to maintain high standards.
• Version Control and CI/CD: Use version control and CI/CD practices to enhance code management and deployment processes.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and query optimization.
• Experience with Coalesce in data transformation.
• Solid background in implementing data product loading processes.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Familiarity with structured and semi-structured data.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT design patterns and concepts.
• Knowledge of data quality and validation techniques.
• Experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.

The base salary range for this position is $73,000 to $84,000 plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies.
