DUTIES:
- Provide general office and clerical support to the operations of Health Services.
- Utilize data collected to give feedback on workflow process improvement.
- Compose and prepare administrative, operational and similar reports pertaining to different chronic care treatments, infectious disease processes, ACA files, etc.
- Manage and arrange schedules for external and internal medical appointments.
- Complete all travel order paperwork in order for security to complete the travel order.
- Collect, compile and extract information from the electronic health record to create and maintain reports for compliance with Correctional Healthcare Standards.
- Provide end user support and training to internal and external customers regarding electronic health record system.
Requirements/Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Coursework/training or experience related to research, presentation, or publication in an area related to the programs or functions of the employing agency; business administration; accounting; customer service; and/or technical support work, including use of computer software such as word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.
Preferred Qualifications: Minimum two years' experience/training/education in administrative/office/clerical support functions. Experience with Microsoft Office applications and SharePoint.
Other: This position requires travel. Must have a valid driver's license. Reliable attendance is required. Applicant accepting a job offer must pass the following exams in this order: medical exam and, at a randomly announced time, pass a drug test. Once at the Staff Training Academy, must successfully complete the fully paid NE Corrections Training Program.
