Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Stellenbeschreibung

As a Sales Intern (m/w/d) you will support our Universal Pictures International Germany team in Frankfurt or Berlin – ideally starting from February 1/March 1, 2026 for 6 months. This team ensures that the film productions of the Universal Film Studios are shown in the cinemas of the German-speaking countries. More information can be found at www.upig.de.

As an intern, you will support us with the following tasks:

  • Support the sales team in our office in Frankfurt or Berlin with tasks related to cinema operator management.
  • Enter film bookings into our internal system and learn about the distribution process.
  • Gain insights into customer relationship management by assisting in communication with independent cinema operators.
  • Help record and enter daily visitor and sales figures into our internal booking system and assist in creating simple reports.
  • Organize special screenings such as previews or open-air events.
  • Coordinate the dispatch of promotional materials for cinemas (posters, flyers, displays, banners, etc.).
  • Take the opportunity to attend industry-specific events and learn more about the film distribution business.

Qualifikationen

  • You have a strong interest in film and cinema as well as basic knowledge of current films.
  • You are motivated to learn more about film distribution and the cinema or media industry.
  • You have a proactive and reliable attitude and good organizational skills.
  • You enjoy working with people and are a team player.
  • You have good communication skills in German and English.
  • You possess basic MS-Office skills and are willing to quickly learn new software.
  • A friendly and cooperative attitude completes your profile.
