Sales Analyst
The Sales Analyst is responsible for delivering data-driven insights that support sales strategy, revenue growth, and operational efficiency for the Orlando and Universal Studios Sales Department. This role partners closely with Sales Leadership, Finance, and other departments to analyze performance, evaluate product and offers, and provide actionable reporting that drives informed business decisions. The ideal candidate would be a highly motivated, effective communicator with a strong analytical skillset.
Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Analyze sales performance across regions, products, channels, and customers
- Develop and maintain recurring reports and dashboards to track KPIs, pipeline health, bookings, and revenue for park admission product
- Support sales forecasting and planning by identifying trends, risks, and growth opportunities
- Perform pipeline, funnel, and conversion analysis for Meeting and Events business including revenue booking pace
- Partner with Sales team to provide ad hoc analysis and executive-ready insights
- Identify process improvements and opportunities for automation in reporting workflows
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Marketing, and IT to align data and metrics
- Help prepare pricing charts for addendums and identify ticketing requirements needed for creation of Sales products
Required qualifications:
- BA or BS degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in sales analytics, business analysis, or sales operations (experience level can be adjusted)
- Excellent project management, organization, and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to adapt and work well in a fast-paced, results-oriented, and rapidly changing environment while delivering on multiple assignments
- Ability to write, speak and present effectively (good communication skills)
- Aptitude for complex problem solving, including analytical mindset
- High proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across the organization
Preferred qualifications: Ideal candidate will have most of the following qualifications:
- Experience with BI or data visualization tools (Microstrategy Data Warehouse, Power BI, Tableau)
- Ability to work in a team environment, proactive with initiatives, and results oriented
- Experience supporting sales forecasting, quota setting, or incentive planning
- Willingness to learn new systems
- Strong communication skills with experience presenting to leadership
