Media Tech Internship Program
Here at NBCU, we strive to be on the forefront of leading-edge technology and are seeking a savvy troop of technologists we call Media Tech Interns.
Our Media Tech internship program exposes students to technical opportunities across NBCUniversal's Operations & Technology organizations and serves as the primary pathway for consideration into our Media Tech Associate Program – a challenging two-year rotational program for individuals with a passion for technology. Many of our past interns have gone on to join the Associate Program, which helps participants jump-start their careers by promoting technical breadth through mentorship, networking opportunities, and technical training.
As an NBCUniversal Media Tech Intern, you will gain hands-on experience, allowing you to apply your classroom knowledge to practical situations. We offer a 2-day in-person orientation in our NY office where we bring all interns together to meet each other and various business leaders.
Students will experience firsthand how one of the largest media and entertainment companies in the world operates and delivers strategic, innovative solutions.
Areas of placement may include, but are not limited to:
Media Ops Simplification: We are seeking an intern to be a part of the newly expanded Global Media Operations (GMO) org. lead by Megan Mauck that encompasses Fulfillment & Distribution, Product, Marketing Supply Chain & Postproduction, & Business Solutions teams. GMO sits within the larger O&T organization. This intern will help support the implementation of ML/AI tooling and automation capabilities across all areas of NBCUniversal's 24x7 Content Supply Chain. This intern will report into a newly created position for a Director, Media Operations role that is focused on AI Operationalization. They will be responsible for driving forward the deployment & integration of AI into our operational workflows in alignment with our LRP vision.

For further clarification, candidates currently on any student or exchange visa (e.g. F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, J-1, M-1) are not eligible to apply unless they will be able to change or adjust to another status that grants work authorization without NBCUniversal sponsorship.

Desired Characteristics:
The hourly rate for undergraduate student interns is $35.00.
The hourly rate for graduate student interns is $35.00.
