This role is part of our Golf group, which brings together the teams behind products and services like GolfNow, TeeOff and GolfPass, which better connects golfers and golf facilities around the world through innovative solutions like cloud-based golf course management and contactless technology and services that create optimum golfing experiences. The Account Executive/Market Sales Manager will research and drive sales for all software products and services under the GolfNow umbrella. They will have ownership of the full sales cycle from prospecting, lead generation, cold calling, relationship building, and account penetration. The Market Sales Manager will also be responsible for account management and growing their existing book of business.
Job duties include: strong account management and relationship building experience, outside sales calls to golf course partners and prospects, preparation, presentation, and closing of customized golf course solutions, documentation of sales activities into the CRM database, report generation of sales activities and revenues to be submitted to the Area Director on a regular basis, assist with market/course analysis to include web checks and opportunity email programs, implement marketing strategies to grow partner rounds and revenue, and management responsibility of multi-course operators relationships, as assigned by supervisor.
The Market Sales Manager will be expected to become the expert on the local golf economy, which includes detailed knowledge of the golf courses, golf marketing outlets, market leaders, decision-makers, macroeconomic issues, and key competitors. The Market Sales Manager will use this detailed knowledge, under the assistance of their Area team to maximize the key performance metrics of the market. These metrics include: Number of Golf Course Clients & Overall Penetration, Product Adoption, Tee Time Utilization rates, and Local Customer (golfers) levels.
Basic requirements include: 5+ years of relevant experience, computer/internet experience required, excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Desired characteristics include: experience with online distribution platforms/technology is a plus, Salesforce or similar CRM experience, college degree, preferred, business acumen with a problem-solving attitude, sales development and/or strategy experience, digital sales and marketing experience is a plus, proven track record of meeting and exceeding metrics and goals, an ability to deliver on role duties and answer inquiries in a timely manner.
Additional requirements include: must reside in or be willing to relocate to Orlando, FL or the in-market area, must be able to travel regularly, work overtime, and on weekends as necessary, this position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week, this position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks. Starting salary range: $67,500 base per year plus 33.33% commission target.
