Project Employee - Analytics Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Project Employee - Analytics Engineer to join our dynamic team, focused on developing data models to support analytics on user engagement. The ideal candidate will have experience in software development, working with dbt (Data Build Tool) and SQL, and a strong understanding of how to use data to inform business decisions. This position provides an excellent opportunity to work with cutting-edge data technologies and collaborate across teams to deliver impactful insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data models using dbt to support the analytics team's work on user engagement.
• Write efficient, reusable, and scalable SQL queries to transform and aggregate data from various sources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver high-quality data models for analytics purposes.
• Continuously improve and optimize the data pipeline to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of user engagement analysis.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processing and data integrity.
• Assist in the creation of automated reports and dashboards to communicate insights to business stakeholders.

Must-Haves:

• At least 1 year of experience in an analytics engineering or software development role, with a strong understanding of database management and data modeling, or equivalent graduate experience.
• Experience with dbt (Data Build Tool), git, and SQL, including writing complex queries to support analytics.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with Python for data processing and automation.
• Familiarity with analytics tools such as Tableau or Excel for creating visualizations.
• Proficiency in using Snowflake as a cloud data warehouse.

Salary Range: $3,250 - $3,750 bi-weekly
