Ensures control, working condition and operational modes of lifting mechanisms, special equipment, automatic gates and other transferred specialized equipment.
Maintains reverse osmosis water treatment plants and purified water delivery systems in laboratories.
Prepares and keeps records of operating time and diesel fuel consumption for entrusted machines and mechanisms.
Oversees the implementation of repair and verification schedules for systems and equipment.
Carries out repair and locksmith work in the premises of Nazarbayev University, in the area of responsibility of the Division.
Takes part in preparation of documents for procurement of goods, works and services, writing of technical characteristics of goods, works and services, including formation of budget request of the Division for the relevant financial year.
Temporary performs the duties (replaces) of the Mechanical Engineer during his/her temporary absence (up to one month).
Timely and properly executes the tasks of the line manager and the University`s management.
Observes the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and internal documents of the University.
Is responsible for exercising the labor and performance discipline.
Is responsible for ensuring the integrity of official documents, and prevention of the disclosure or leakage of confidential and business information, as well as information of restricted access in accordance with the legislation, Charter and internal documents of the Employer.
Higher-professional, preferable from the higher education institutions with English language of instruction.
Priority specializations: Engineering.
Required work experience is defined in accordance with standard qualifications for administrative positions at the autonomous organization of education "Nazarbayev University".
Over 2 years of relevant professional experience.
Knowledge of the various engineering and technical systems utilized in building and laboratory operations.
Knowledge of device, principle of operation and rules of technical operation of cranes, loaders and other serviced equipment.
Knowledge of the rules of securing, lifting and moving various loads.
Knowledge of the construction and assembly of laboratory furniture.
Skills in working with project documentation.
Skills in operating hoisting machines and mechanisms.
Skills in operating, maintaining and repairing mechanical and hydraulic equipment.
Skills in maintaining water treatment systems.
