Operations Specialist

The Operations Specialist in the Supply Chain department plays a key role in supporting end-to-end supply chain processes including procurement, logistics, inventory control, and order fulfillment. This role ensures timely, cost-effective, and efficient flow of goods and information across the supply chain, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Order Management & Fulfillment:

• Coordinate sales and purchase orders across departments.
• Track shipments and ensure timely delivery to customers or internal departments.
• Resolve order discrepancies and delivery delays proactively.

Inventory & Logistics:

• Monitor inventory levels, ensure optimal stock without overstocking.
• Coordinate with warehouse teams for inbound/outbound shipments.
• Assist in cycle counting and stocktaking processes.

Supplier & Vendor Coordination:

• Liaise with suppliers for order confirmations, shipping documentation, and ETAs.
• Evaluate supplier performance and suggest improvements.

Data & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Odoo).
• Generate weekly/monthly reports for supply chain KPIs.
• Analyze trends in delays, stock-outs, or process inefficiencies.

Process Improvement:

• Participate in projects to streamline supply chain operations.
• Support digitization, automation, and agile practices within the department.

Compliance & Documentation:

• Ensure all supply chain activities comply with company policies and regulations.
• Maintain proper documentation for audits and regulatory inspections.
