We are looking for a Service Delivery Technician to join our sales team and help us continue our mission of transforming lives through mobility solutions.

Scope

As a Service Delivery Technician, the employee plays a vital role in providing safe, efficient and compassionate delivery, installation and servicing of NSM's medical equipment. The position requires both technical skills and strong interpersonal abilities to work with clients, caregivers and healthcare professionals in sensitive situations.

Position Reports To: Branch Manager

Role and Responsibilities/Essential Functions

  • Deliver, transfer, and install all NSM equipment.
  • Repair and adjust equipment or coordinate repairs with in-store technicians.
  • Ensure all equipment has a barcode and is identifiable with an NSM label.
  • Conduct equipment inspections to ensure safety, proper installations and functionality.
  • Develop continual education through product literature and in-house training on new products and services.
  • Complete service documentation and delivery records accurately and on time.
  • Follow company procedures and safety regulations.
  • Support all programs with professionalism and empathy.
  • Provide clear explanations to clients and caregivers on equipment use and care.
  • Demonstrate empathy and patience when working with clients facing health or mobility challenges.

Other duties as assigned that include inventory or any other task.

Competencies/Skills

  • Experience in equipment delivery, installation or related technical field
  • Valid driver's license
  • Applicants must be eligible to work in Canada
  • Diagnose and solve problems based on customers' non-technical descriptions
  • Strong knowledge of equipment and tools used in the industry
  • Lift heavy equipment up to 75 lbs, work in confined spaces and bend frequently
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Team player
  • Capable of working quickly under pressure
  • Commitment to serving the community with care and respect
