As a Site Services Specialist at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, you will play a crucial role in our Property Management team. Under minimal supervision, you will assist with property disposition efforts including excessing government property and the management of high-risk government property such as advanced research equipment and materials. General tasks include but not limited to participating in planning meetings, defining tasks and schedules, setting and meeting quotas, and identifying and collecting excess government property. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of property management functions.
Job Duties Include:
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 or more years of experience or equivalent relevant education/experience. Or, relevant Associate's Degree or certification program of comparable scope and 5 or more years of experience or equivalent relevant education/experience. Extensive knowledge in specialized focused business support functions. A comprehensive understanding of both general and specific aspects of business support activities, and their practical application to a wide variety of problems and situations specific to the discipline or field supported. Advanced skills in applicable software packages and office equipment. Considerable project administration and business services skills. Broad knowledge of specific principles, procedures, and practices related to supported fields and disciplines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, team and interpersonal skills. * Must meet educational requirements prior to employment start date.
