The Engineer will play a key role on the TRAX, LLC Engineering Team by developing and testing power or process plant models using ProTRAX or other simulation software. This position will also be required to debug simulation models and assist in modifying system software.
Develops power or process plant models utilizing simulation software
Tests power or process plant models
Assists in modifying software systems
Formulates plant heat balances
Creates dynamic models of existing plant systems using ProTRAX software or other
Works with Senior Engineers to debug and tune simulation models
Uses modeling software to evaluate future plant configurations
Troubleshooting existing control logic and developing new control logic
Performing training simulator testing with customers
Presenting results of engineering studies
Analyzing simulation results and recommending plant improvements
Writes a well-organized report describing the technical work performed
Addresses customer questions/issues tactfully and knows when to direct questions or issues to TRAX
Adheres to TRAX ISO procedures
Participates productively in both internal TRAX meetings and meetings with customers
Maintains a professional demeanor with co-workers and with customers
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
