Leidos is seeking a talented & skilled Quality Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber, and commercial fields. Leidos provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific, and IT solutions for its customers. Leidos is involved in multiple contracts to provide hardware and systems for high energy weapons, launchers, Hypersonics, radar and emission systems, and target surrogates for several DoD customers.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Support mechanical and electrical manufacturing and assembly, integration and testing for aerospace and defense manufacturing.
2. Perform program quality planning, analyze program Quality Assurance (QA) requirements, develop inspection/test procedures and process plans, finalize source inspection checklist, coordinate review of nonconformance documentation, and support root cause/corrective action.
3. Review AS9102 FAI documentation, working with DCMA, and other government quality assurance agencies.
4. Collection and reporting of Quality Metrics, reviewing and approving new drawings, supporting project managers during design, manufacturing readiness reviews, PDR, CDR, APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA, and conducting supplier surveillance audits.
