Azure DevOps Engineer

One of our clients has an immediate need for an Azure DevOps Engineer to work full-time on-site at their client location in Lorton, VA. This position requires an active Top Secret with SCI level clearance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Deploying Azure resources such as Azure Virtual Machines, Key Vaults, and other core Azure resources using Azure DevOps pipelines
• Monitoring and maintaining Azure infrastructure, addressing performance issues and optimizing cloud resources.
• Implementing and managing Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Developing and maintaining cloud infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep
• Reviewing, refining, and troubleshooting new and existing IaC within the environment
• Designing, implementing, and managing secure enclave environments within Microsoft Azure.
• Ensuring the stability, performance, and security of Azure enclave systems.
• Managing identity and access management (IAM) policies, ensuring least privilege access across enclave systems.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance cloud solutions.
• Troubleshooting complex issues within Azure environments, providing escalation support as needed.
• Documenting configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting processes.
• Azure AVD image building and rotation via automation
• Designing, developing, deploying, and managing container orchestration through Kubernetes
• Configuring and managing Azure Kubernetes Service clusters and the underlying infrastructure
• Automating deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications
• Providing support in assisting customers installing software onto baseline desktops using an automation first mentality (DSC or Packer).
• Partnering with leadership to shape engineering strategy and innovation
• Communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
