Purpose:
To participate and help drive the execution of activities required to deliver governance-led change and incident management improvement initiatives for the organization. This involves the professional application of organizational change management disciplines, governance frameworks, and agreed methodologies to uplift change quality, incident outcomes, and operational consistency across the organization.
May work directly with a Project Manager, Service Owner, Incident Manager, or delivery leads on small to medium-sized initiatives, or under the direction and guidance of a more senior change management professional on larger programs. Consequently, when acting as the most senior Change Management governance resource on a day-to-day basis, the role is expected (with guidance) to drive the completion of change and incident governance activities, including stakeholder engagement, impact assessment, readiness planning, and adoption support.
May be dedicated full-time to a single program or work across multiple smaller initiatives simultaneously. While unlikely to have formal people leadership responsibilities, the role may be expected to provide direction, coaching, and support to Change Analysts or project team members to ensure governance standards are applied consistently and change and incident management practices are effectively adopted.
