Cisco Capital Americas Sales Leadership Team

Members of the Finance organization at select locations will generally be expected to follow a hybrid work model, which includes two days of in-office attendance each week, with limited exceptions.

You will be a core member of the Cisco Capital Americas sales leadership team, reporting to the Senior Managing Director, Americas. As part of the extended leadership team for Global Enterprise Americas Sales, you will collaborate cross-functionally with Credit, Operations, and Legal teams to drive business improvements. You will also develop critical relationships with channel partners and Cisco Sales SVPs/VPs to power the internet and connect systems worldwide.

Your Impact

As the Director of GES, you will drive financial product direct sales and integrate Cisco Capital with the broader Product and Services Sales organizations. Owning an annual quota of $1B+, you will balance sales enablement with profitability and risk management. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performance team of finance professionals, influence critical executive decisions, and execute go-to-market strategies that advance the sales process with CEOs and CFOs of global enterprises.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading, coaching, and developing a team of sales professionals and managers to achieve $1B+ in annual financing volumes.
  • Building and maintaining executive-level relationships at both the customer and Cisco leadership levels.
  • Developing and presenting financing sales strategies and products to advance the sales process.
  • Owning responsibility for accurate forecasting and adherence to sales operational best practices.
  • Providing input to New Product Development to drive adoption of new financial solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

+ 4+ years of leadership experience

+ 8+ years of sales experience working at the executive level with a track record of supporting large strategic deals.

+ Extensive knowledge of local and global financial markets.

+ Proficiency with SFDC CRM systems and Tableau for financial modeling and data intelligence.

+ Experience in structured financing and utility-type sales models.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Deep understanding of the IT industry and the ability to translate industry dynamics into financial services.

+ Proven ability to lead and grow cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.

+ Strong executive business acumen and experience leading customer discussions with C-suite executives.

+ Demonstrated track record of implementing change and innovation in a sales environment.

+ Existing executive-level relationships with major customers and partners.

The starting salary range posted for this position is $330,100.00 to $417,800.00 and reflects the projected salary range for new hires in this position in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including incentive compensation, equity, or benefits. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location, market conditions, job-related skillset, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and/or training.
