Location: Somewhere fabulous in Lancashire (with travel to client sites across the northwest region)

We have created a new role for a Consultant HR Business Partner who's got more knowledge than ChatGPT and more strategic thinking than a game of celebrity Traitors!

What we're looking for:

• You speak fluent TUPE and can handle union consultations without breaking a sweat.
• You manage projects like a ninja and know the employee lifecycle better than your Netflix history.
• You don't just understand employment law, you have the ability to apply it in practice.
• You're confident, proactive, and not afraid to say, "Actually, I disagree…" (politely, of course).
• You've got CIPD Level 7 or you're working on it like it's your side hustle.
• You can influence stakeholders, deliver training, and still make it home in time for Bake Off.

What you'll be doing:

• Auditing HR like Sherlock Holmes with a spreadsheet.
• Delivering strategic HR support that makes clients say, "Wow, you're good."
• Educating, mentoring, and occasionally dazzling clients with your HR wizardry.
• Representing AfterAthena at events — yes, there may be brews, cake and biscuits involved.
