We are seeking an experienced and motivated Specialist, IT Operations to join our dynamic team in the Centre of IT Services (CITS). The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing all IT needs for faculty, staff and researchers in the Nanyang Business School (NBS), while ensuring compliance with CITS' IT policies. He/She will possess expertise in the Learning Management Systems (LMS), eLearning tools and will exhibit a strong analytical mindset in delivering effective solutions that align with the organization's needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Run Infrastructure/System Operations in Nanyang Business School (NBS)
- Ensure that all programme and department operations run seamlessly.
- Manage the implementation of Learning Management System changes and maintenance routines as agreed upon.
- Contribute to the design and the implementation of Learning Management System replacement plans.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Undergraduate Programmes, Graduate Studies, ASEAN & China Programmes, Nanyang Executive Education, and departments to streamline, digitize, and automate current work processes.
Maintain Service Level Agreements and Service Improvements, and Other Areas
- Maintain service-level objectives and targets, monitoring these objectives to ensure that requirements are met or exceeded.
- Maintain client satisfaction metrics and service procedures, constantly reviewing and analyzing these metrics to propose recommendations to improve performance and client satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or other related discipline
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in IT operations and educational technology support
- Proficient in troubleshooting software, applications, educational courseware and eLearning tools
- Proficient in .NET languages, MSSQL, Oracle DB and Learning Management System (LMS)
- Experience with Power Automate, Blackboard LMS and e-Assessment platforms will be an added advantage
- Demonstrated ability in decision-making and problem-solving
- Is detail-oriented and capable of multi-tasking
- Possess good verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders at various levels in the organization
- Able to serve as the subject matter expert for the systems under your care
- A team player with good interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
