We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Executive, IT Operations, to join our dynamic team in the Centre of IT Services (CITS). The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing all IT needs for faculty, staff and researchers in the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information (WKWSCI), while ensuring compliance with CITS' IT policies. Key Responsibilities:
Run infrastructure/system operations in the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information (WKWSCI)
Ensure that all program and department operations run seamlessly.
Support TV studio operations for academic productions and courses, including those involving extended reality (XR) virtual production technologies.
Ensure serviceability and accountability of production equipment for student loans.
Provide IT and AV support for staff and faculty events, including pre- and post-production setup, to ensure successful live streaming across various platforms.
Assist in conducting equipment handling and post-production demonstrations in classes and outreach events.
Manage the implementation of infrastructure changes and maintenance routines.
Contribute to the design and implementation of infrastructure replacement plans.
Assist in the disposal of IT/AV assets due for write-off and ensure proper documentation and accountability.
Maintain service level agreements and service improvements, and other areas
Maintain service-level objectives and targets, monitoring these objectives to ensure that requirements are met.
Maintain client satisfaction metrics and service procedures, constantly reviewing and analyzing these metrics to propose recommendations to improve performance and client satisfaction.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Media, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in IT operations and/or media production, including experience with extended reality (XR) virtual production.
Proficient in both Mac OS and Windows 11 platforms.
Skilled in end-user support for Windows-based desktops and basic server administration.
Able to troubleshoot PC hardware issues and familiar with network and cybersecurity concepts.
Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
Self-motivated, proactive, resourceful, and willing to share knowledge and learn new skillsets as needed.
