Neuropsychologist

Responsible for diagnosing or evaluating neuropsychological disorders of individuals through observation, interview, and psychological tests. Develop and implement individual treatment plans, specifying type, frequency, intensity, and duration of treatment.

Responsibilities:

Administers clinical diagnostic interview, interprets psychometric tests, writes neuropsychological evaluation reports, and completes patient informing meeting and family conferences.

Collaborates with interdisciplinary professional team and attends team meetings/huddles. Shares treatment findings and recommendations with team.

Provides training and ongoing oversight for psychometric techs who will perform testing with patients.

Assumes responsibility for program growth, quality metrics, and keeping up with the latest research in the field.

Completes orientation, cross training, and willingly agrees to provide neuropsychological services for patient in other departments on a consultative basis.

Assists with orientation of new staff and/or students.

Assures that billing charges are completed, and that all documentation is completed accurately within specified time frames.

Works in supportive collaboration with other treatment team members and provides clinical leadership to meet patient needs.

Willingness to provide community services, including input into the development of new programs.

Certifications and Licensures:

PCSW - Psychologist/Counselor/Social Worker

Required Equivalent Experience - Licensure in the state of Michigan as a psychologist

Required Education:

Doctorate
