Position Summary
The Supervisor of Patient Nutrition Services is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the patient meal service program, retail areas, and production areas at an assigned location. This position is responsible for directing the program and staff, and providing quality, cost effective, nutrition services to patients. This position will ensure that the standards and procedures for our patient meal service and retail food programs are met.
Responsibilities
- You will coordinate, supervise, and participate in patient meal and retail service operations
- You will provide oversight of the daily operations of the department in all areas: patient meal services, retail, production, sanitation and customer service
- Plan patient menus in cooperation with the system leadership team
- You will ensure service standards – menu and meal service accuracy, tray appearance, food temperatures and ensure appropriate departmental safety and sanitation practices, etc.
- You will uphold the highest customer service standards for our patients, staff, visitors and co-workers
Requirements
- Associate's degree or 2 yrs. experience in lieu of degree will be considered
- Two (2) years in a supervisory capacity. This can include Lead experience or other relevant demonstrated skills in leadership at the discretion of the hiring Manager
- Experience in the use of MS Office applications and nutrition related software
- Experience in a food service setting responsible for customer service
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a retail or food service setting

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $58,510.00 - $84,219.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
