Metropolis Performing Arts Centre is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in the heart of downtown Arlington Heights. It houses a 329-seat professional theater, as well as a full School of Performing Arts that includes drama, dance, and music instruction. We have a collaborative, fast-paced work environment staffed with professionals who love the arts. This position is for 10-20 hours per week. Associates must be available for weekend and evening scheduling. Starting Pay: $15/hour
High school diploma preferred. At least 1-3 years of experience in similar customer service roles is preferred. Demonstrated ability to accurately handle patron transactions is required. A friendly and welcoming workstyle is required.
This position is regularly required to speak, hear, type, and handle items such as tickets, currency, headsets, hand-held receivers, and cell phones. The work environment is a public-facing theater with several restaurant/bar adjacent areas with above-average noise levels.
