Responsibilities:

• Transports items from the receiving area to designated storage locations using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or by carrying them manually.
• Conducts temperature checks on potentially hazardous foods.
• Prioritizes storing received items by immediately stocking frozen and refrigerated goods, followed by grocery items stored at room temperature.
• Confirms shipment accuracy by counting, weighing, or measuring items and comparing them to the invoice, packing slip, or purchase order.
• Attaches the invoice to the purchase order and submits it to the Dietary Office for documentation.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Hospital food service experience preferred, but on-the-job training is provided
