Human Resources Specialist
The Human Resources Specialist will provide comprehensive support to the HR team and employee population, ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes across the employee lifecycle. This role requires hands-on experience with HRIS platforms, particularly ADP Workforce Now and Workday, to manage employee data, support payroll and benefits administration, and streamline HR workflows. The successful candidate will contribute to the efficiency and accuracy of the HR function while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Key responsibilities: Serve as the critical first point of contact for employees, providing guidance, support, and resolution for a dynamic range of HR-related questions and concerns.
- Manage employee data and workflows in ADP Workforce Now and Workday to support accurate and efficient HRIS operations
- Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy, enrollments and employee inquiries
- Maintain employee records and support compliance processes, audits, and policy adherence across the HR function
- Support recruitment and onboarding processes by coordinating job postings, interviews, background checks, and new hire setup in HRIS system.
- HR Program Support: Assist with the administration and communication of HR programs such as performance management, training, recognition, and engagement initiatives.
Major Challenges:
- Ensuring consistent and accurate data across ADP Workforce Now and Workday, particularly during system integrations, employee changes, or payroll syncing.
- Managing a high volume of administrative tasks such as onboarding, leave management, and reporting under tight deadlines, requiring strong time management skills.
- Ensuring compliance with evolving employment laws, data privacy standards, and audit requirements across multiple jurisdictions or remote teams.
Expected Performance Outcomes:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and workflows in ADP Workforce Now and Workday to ensure data integrity and timely processing
- Ensure timely and error-free payroll processing and provide efficient, responsive support for employee benefits administration
- Maintain compliant HR documentation and practices that meet audit standards, legal requirements, and ensure accurate, up-to-date records.
- Coordinate job postings, interviews, and onboarding tasks promptly to ensure a smooth and professional experience for new hires.
Required Experience:
- 2+ years of HR administration experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong hands-on experience using ADP Workforce Now and Workday (required)
- Familiarity with payroll processes, employee benefits, and HR compliance regulations
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- High attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset
