System Development Engineer
As a System Development Engineer, you sit at the high-velocity intersection of Software Engineering and Systems Architecture, building the sophisticated tooling that allows our systems to provide the highest quality service. You will design and implement world-class Continuous Integration and Deployment frameworks. You will treat our internal infrastructure as a product, developing high-performance internal tools, APIs, and CLI utilities to automate complex operational logic. You will lead the charge in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and build self-healing systems and automated remediation workflows that detect and fix issues before a human ever sees an alert. You'll bake security into the DNA of our systems.
Architecting the CI/CD Engine: Design, build, and optimize high-speed deployment pipelines. You ensure it's tested, secured, and deployed with zero downtime using Canary and Blue/Green strategies.
Engineering Internal Platforms: You will treat internal services as products, developing APIs, custom CLI tools, and dashboards that empower software teams to self-serve infrastructure.
Radical Automation & IaC: Eliminate manual toil by codifying everything. You will manage global-scale infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), ensuring environments are reproducible, version-controlled, and immutable.
Advanced Escalation & Reliability: Act as the "Engineer's Engineer." You provide support for complex distributed systems failures, performing deep-dive root cause analysis (RCA) and writing code to ensure the same failure mode never happens twice.
Performance Tuning & Observability: Build the "eyes and ears" of our systems. You will implement advanced telemetry, distributed tracing, and automated alerting to maintain high availability and peak performance.
Replicate complex customer deployment environments to execute comprehensive system integration and stability testing.
Cybersecurity Compliance & Global Standards: Ensure that our systems meet/exceed strict global security standards.
