Senior Java Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer who has at least 3 years of professional experience to develop with us a new DIMETRA Connect Application Server. Our goal is to build a real-time server with very good performance that will be providing voice and data services to Tetra Devices via IP using websocket signaling and SRTP audio streams. The successful candidate will take part in a whole software lifecycle process related to the software run on the server (hosted on RHEL 8). This includes design, development, testing and integration of our communication systems solution with mobile devices.

The position requires availability to work from office 2 days per week (Tuesday and Thursday).

Basic Requirements

• Proficiency in Java (JDK 21) language with at least 4 years of proven experience
• Knowledge of Java Concurrency
• Practical knowledge of Linux operating system and virtualization
• Knowledge of networking protocols and IP programming on Linux
• Ability to write JUnit tests
• English language skills

Additional Knowledge/Skills:

• Experience with dependency injection in Java (CDI)
• Experience with Spring and/or Quarkus
• Experience with Netty Framework
• CI/CD tools and techniques, ie: Jenkins
• Experience working with GIT, Artifactory, JIRA
• Experience with Audio streams handling (RTP, ACELP)
• Knowledge about websockets
• Knowledge about garbage collector
