DSP Software Engineering Internship

This position is for a DSP Software Engineering internship opportunity at Motorola Solutions in Plantation, Florida. We are looking for engineers with a strong interest in DSP and embedded systems to help expand our team and deliver the next generation of communication devices to our customers.

Preferred skills include knowledge of fundamentals of Digital Signal Processing and/or Digital Communication, experience in C/C++, and knowledge of Machine Learning. Experience with Matlab, Python, Perl, real-time embedded software, strong communication and problem solving skills, version control; Git, and Linux are also a plus.

Responsibilities include working in an Agile/Scrum team to analyze, design, implement cutting edge real-time software for DSP algorithms and Low Level device drivers to be used in wireless products, teamwork in a multi-site, world-wide development environment, finding, tracking, and repairing device software defects, and creating and executing unit, integration, system, load, and acceptance tests.

Basic requirements include pursuing a Bachelors or Masters Degree in one of the following programs: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering.
