Door-to-Door Sales Representatives

Humbug Holiday Lighting transforms homes and businesses across Sioux Falls and surrounding areas with stunning, professionally installed holiday lighting and decor. From rooftops to wreaths, we make the holidays magical—and hassle-free—for our customers.

We're looking for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our team as Door-to-Door Sales Representatives for our 2025 holiday season. This is a commission-based, independent contractor position with the potential to earn $10,000–$20,000 in just a few months!

Responsibilities:

• Canvass residential neighborhoods and speak with homeowners about professional holiday lighting services.
• Educate potential customers on the benefits of safe, custom-designed lighting without the hassle of ladders, tangled cords, or cold weather.
• Close sales and sign up new customers for our seasonal lighting packages.
• Represent Humbug Holiday Lighting in a professional, upbeat, and customer-focused manner.
• Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales goals.

What We're Looking For:

• Self-motivated individuals who are excited to work in a performance-driven environment
• Strong communication skills and confidence initiating conversations with homeowners
• A hardworking, goal-oriented attitude
• Reliable transportation
• Previous door-to-door or commission-based sales experience is a plus—but not required
• Must be able to pass a background check to get your peddler's license

Compensation:

This is a commission-based role with no income cap. Most contractors earn $625–$1,250 per week, with top performers exceeding that range during our peak fall season.
