Youth Services Counselor
Schedule: 30-40 hours/week; Monday-Friday (between 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)
Compensation: $20.54/hr. plus an excellent benefit package that includes health, vision, dental, retirement, paid holidays, paid time off, etc.

Job Summary: This position determines eligibility for programs by doing intake and assessment for potential clients. Employment plans are developed. Prospective employers and other community resources are contacted to promote the agency and explain the various Workforce Development Programs. This position works primarily with youth and young adults.
Minimum Qualifications: The knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform this position are usually acquired through a combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in area with two years' experience in the social services field with some emphasis on counseling, and work with youth. Other combinations of education and experience that could provide these knowledge, skills and abilities will be evaluated on an individual basis.
