Program Support Specialist

We are looking for one Program Support Specialist to join our team in the Field Services & Technology Section of the Air, Energy, & Mining Division. The Program Support Specialist is responsible for performing high-level administrative services and program support by conducting research, preparing and editing documents, handling communications and information requests, conducting website maintenance, and providing data and records management. This position performs support functions such as preparing correspondence, proofing materials, mail processing, assisting visitors, managing main phone lines, arranging conference calls, and making arrangements for travel, meetings, or events. Effective July 1, 2026, this position may be eligible for a statutory base salary increase of $1.00/Hour OR 2.5%, whichever is greater.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year or relevant experience with demonstrated skill in the use of office software and equipment.
  • Some college or post-high school education or training preferred.
  • May require current valid Driver's License and clean driving record in accordance with State of Montana Vehicle Use Policy.
  • Alternative combinations of education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
