Key Responsibilities
Customer Interaction
Greet customers at the front of the showroom, where your desk is located. Assist them with color selections for their kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities, backsplashes, showers, and more. Manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously during busy periods.
Communication
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and team members. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required to convey information clearly and professionally.
Scheduling & Organization
Coordinate project scheduling for clients and the design team. Adapt schedules to accommodate ever shifting timelines, which are common in the construction industry.
Showroom Attendant
Keep the showroom neat and visually appealing by managing product displays, inventory, and overall cleanliness of the sales floor. Tasks may include light cleaning, dusting, and similar to keep the showroom pristine.
Administrative Support
Assist the design team with tasks such as preparing documents, coordinating deliveries from incoming trucks, and handling client inquiries.
Requirements
Organizational Skills
Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, track incoming phone calls, customer inquiries, and relay important information to installers and fabricators.
Adaptability
Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where schedules can shift frequently. Ability to multitask and adjust priorities as needed.
Attention to Detail
Attention to detail is critical in this role, as even minor mistakes can become costly, potentially requiring the repurchase of expensive stone materials. It is essential that all information is conveyed accurately, and followed up on.
Computer Literate
Comfortable using computers and learning new software applications. Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, or similar. Training will be provided for industry-specific software like ActionFlow and QuickBooks.
Professional Appearance
Have clean professional clothes and appearance while at work. We strive to look as good as the beautiful marble and granite stones we sell.
Preferred Experience
Experience or background in interior design with a strong sense of aesthetics. Knowledge of stone materials and fabrication processes. Prior experience as a professional assistant or in scheduling roles. Retail or similar sales experience.
Compensation & Benefits
